Manchester Art Galley, Bee-Raphaelite Honey
In the summer of 2012, Manchester Art Gallery decided to introduce bees to the roof of the Gallery. With the intention of increasing the urban bee population of the city and also produce their own honey. This is the fruit of the gallery bees' labour.
Two of a number of packaging concepts are shown below together with a presentation comp, and the finished label and jar. The first harvest of honey goes on sale in the gallery shop on 14 November 2013.
